Time Travel

Tommy wanted to see the world, so his mother bought him a map, but it wasn’t enough. So she bought him a globe, but still, Tommy ached for more. His geography teacher, Mr. Petunia, remarked to his mother at the parent-teacher conference that he was an excellent student, very attentive, A++.

But at every other subject, he failed. Terrible at math, english and his spelling was horrendous.

“What am I going to do with you? Your head’s always in the clouds.”

Nothing mattered more than travel. Instead of sleeping, he spent the night looking out at the stars though his telescope. Maybe there was a way to escape.

His mother thought there was something wrong with his head, so she sought medical advice.

If only his mother knew that his pediatrician wasn’t a real doctor.
